Life is full of surprises

The reason the title is what it is, and I know i've blogged about this before, but every time the snow starts to melt and I go to sleep thinking that morning time will be Spring, It snows! Take yesterday for instance. The sun shone and I saw the entire driveway without a speck of snow on the ground. I could see grass in the yard, and the air smelled of flowers. Then I woke up in the morning and mom said: "Look outside, Chey." It was a snowstorm. 

I was so upset I screeched "No!" so loudly that I caused daddy to break his stare at the TV morning news to look at me funny. Now, I in the past have a record of actually liking snow. That was then, this is now. The next time I blog without complaining of the snow, most likely I will be in a good mood and it will be springtime.

Weather is Teasing Us

I know that it is going to come, I know I don't have to wait much longer, but I am seriously getting irratated that there is still snow outside. The worst thing is that just when it starts to melt... It snows again. Yesterday It was 42 degrees outside and it still snowed! How is that? I can tell you one thing, tonasket sure has strange weather.
On a more positive note, we had a lovely week-end. The Emerys' (Stephen and Vicky) had dinner with us on Saturday. We ate chicken enchiladas. Momma's chicken enchiladas are great. On Sunday we went to the Lyle and Nancy's home. We had enchiladas there, too! I mostly played my DS while the adults played pinochle ( I don't know how.) John, their son, had a pool table that was warped. I did not enjoy playing on it because it was so small. For dessert there was cheesecake, but I wasn't hungry so I didn't have any. Cacie K. did my hair and made it super straight  That was my weekend, how was yours?

So Young, Yet So Old

  You may wonder why I chose that for my title. Well, I'll tell you. My back hurts. That's the only reason why. I feel like an old geezer that has arthritis all over. Okay, that's stretching it a lot. Anyway, if you recently read my mother's blog, you have heard of my little spider incident. For the record, it was UNEXPECTED. I was just washing my hands for dinner when I saw the spider on my collar and I shrieked! 

Not much has been going on here. I have learned more Spanish, and I now don't have to look at the keyboard when I type. I actually think that this is making me type faster than before. That's a surprise. Also, I set a 10:00 bedtime for myself last night. I woke up at 8:00 this morning and felt rested. I am sticking to that bedtime. Oops! It's past my bedtime. Good night!

2/05/09

This morning I woke up at 7:59. Mom and Dakota were going out in service. I stayed home and watched T.V. for two hours. I fed the cats and dogs, then I did my homework. I had to do one story in reading WASL, finish my science homework, and write the final draft of my essay. I did, then I read my book, The Summer of the Swans. I acctually finished it today! Daddy let me play on his I-Phone. Then I played Sims Castaway on my DS. Lately I have been playing Wii Sports, and I have almost gone pro on baseball in it. Then we did our bible reading. Mom served corned-beef for dinner with cooked cabbage and potatos too. It was yummy. Now I blogged. Hope you liked my post!

The Funniest Picture Of Chibi Ever!

Last night my family had chicken strips for dinner. This morning, there a few pieces left over, so daddy told me I could feed them to Chibi. I timed out a picture, honestly I didn't think it was going to work. Here it is!!!

Snow, Snow, Go Away. Come Again... Never!

The snow we still have around the property is driving me crazy! It's trampled down and now just mere slush. Five words; I can't wait 'til summer! Swimming in Lake Osoyoos, making mud concrete in the sandpile. Not to mention falling asleep to the sound of sprinklers. Even weeding the garden is better than this winter torture!



On a more positive note, my hair is growing and I can speak enough spanish to confuse my family :) I also got my grades for this semester. I have a GPA of 3.94! This semester I am shooting for a 4.0. My mom picked up some flax oil at the grocery store for my dry skin. I have to chug down a glass of juice and it every morning (glah!) Chibi is in heat again. Let's hope for some puppies!I spent the night at the Kammeyers on Saturday night. I give them a special thank-you shout out. Sunday was the Superbowl. Despite all my cheering and hopeful thoughts, the Cardinals lost. I pigged on the snacks there, though. They had everything there; even shrimp cocktail!

It's still here (groan)

My hair is growing!

My Big Plan

Hi! So recently my mom and brother have decided to lose weight, and I thought I would give it a try. For about 30 hours I was on a strict diet. Then I caved. Well, this morning I thought that I should at least see where I'm at. Now, I'm not going to say exact numbers, but I ended up leaping for joy at my progress. I was so happy I probably lost two pounds just dancing with victory!

So tonight I summoned up the courage to put Wii Fit into the disk drive of the Wii. I stepped on the scale and bit my lip. Yahoo! The scale on Wii Fit said I was five pounds from normal. Oh how I celebrated. I am practically trying to lose the weight before I get on it again tomorrow. Two other things I am doing are learning Spanish and growing out my hair. Both are progressing agonizingly slow. So I guess my big plan is to learn enough Spanish to speak it fluently, grow out my hair, and get really, really, fit!

Raine Comes Over, yay!

  On Thursday Raine, Paula, and Grandma Laraine came to Tonasket. Everybody (I hope) was happy to see them. We had a big feast of Chili and cornbread. That night, Sami, Tammy, Jesse K., Cheyenne K., Lily, Shelby, Kelly, Paula, Raine, Grandma, and our clan were all at our house. Afterwards, Grandma stayed at our home while Raine and Paula went to Tammy's house. Everybody else went home. 

  The next day I woke up and relaxed at my house until about 5:00 p.m. Then Paula, Raine, Mom and I went to Sky's house for din-din. There was a taco bar. All of the kids played Rock Band downstairs until it was time to go. Then something exciting happened. My mom showed me a puppy that were going to baby-sit overnight. It was a Golden Retriever German Shepard mix. It was cute, but we took it back the next day because it was a poop machine. I spent almost all of Saturday playing Rock Band 2 at Tammy's house. Gabe, Sky, Raine, Me, Tammy, Sami, Jesse K., Joey, and Paula were all there. On Sunday the Wilsons departed, and so did our spontanious weekend. But the Wilsons will be back in the spring. I can't wait!

Boring!!!!

   As you can clearly see from the title, nothing exciting has happened here lately. The snow has been piling up in great heaps. This morning we woke up at 9:59, which was bad because we were supposed to be at the Kammeyer's house at 10:00 for brunch. So we called them and told them we were going to be "a little late." We all got ready as fast as possible, then we left. Gabriel and Jesse were dropped off with Gina because they were going to the Week's Residence. Then Daddy, Mama, and I went to Rob & Gina Ks. Immediately when we got there I announced (as I usually do) that "The party had arrived." Then I went to say hi to Lilly.

    She was playing "Dig Dug" which, I assume, is her favorite game for N64. So I asked her If I could try. She agreed, then I proceeded to be poned by the monsters in the game. Embarrassed that a 6-year-old was better than me, I used the age-old excuse: "Yeah, well, you've played longer." Cheyenne Kammeyer came into the room and I made haste to get up and say hi. We went into her room and she and I listened to Taylor Swift's new album. Then after a while we got goofy and started hitting her inflated heart thingy back and forth like a volleyball. But that fun ended when Rob pounded on the door to say "Stop banging around." I noticed a box of baby clothes on the ground and couldn't resist it. "Can we play with this stuff?" I asked her, trying not to sound too much like a twelve-year-old that wanted to play dolls. "Sure," was her answer.

    I sat on the ground and pulled out the boxes, which, as I suspected, were filled to the brim with baby clothes, socks, and shoes. "I got most of this stuff from my sister after Asia out-grew them," She said. "Mmm-hmm" was my reply as I struggled to shove my baby's foot into some footy-pajamas.   We talked for a while, then Cheyenne said: "When are we going to do egg-babies?" My ears perked up, for I LOVE egg-babies. I asked mom, and was disappointed when she said "next semester." I went back to the room and dressed my baby. Then Cheyenne came in holding to eggs in her hand. She gave me one. "Did you ask?" I said. She shook her head. I decided that id the parents didn't want to waste their eggs that we could at least decorate them. I picked up a marker and got started. 

   The parents didn't mind. In fact, they thought they were adorable. Cheyenne and I spent the rest of the day playing around. Around dusk we created a show called "Name That Creature," in which two Barbies interviewed our egg-babies. It was fun. The sad thing was my egg cracked when I got home from meeting that night. I can always do another though! Gee, I guess more than I thought happened!

Greedy

Sally had a nickel, she took it to the store. Mamas two dimes was worth much more. Daddys three quarters was worth the most. That gave him the right to boast!/ So I begged mama for a candy bar./ I then bagged daddy for a red race car./ I begged mama for a pink gum-ball./ I begged daddy for for a pretty new doll./ They loaded up the car, and it was so full./ I was holding my candy-bar./ Zoom! Zoom! Zoom! goes my red race car./ I am chewing on a pink gum-ball./ and next to me is my pretty new doll./ I laughed 'cos I thought it was funny, that in the car I had the the most money.

Visiting

On Saturday I woke up and mom said "We are going out in service, just Daddy and I." So me and Jesse stayed home and watched TV until 10-o-clock and then we cleaned up. Then Jesse said: "Do you want to watch Spy Kids?" I didn't care, really. I was going to play my DS either way, so I said: "Sure!" Mama and Daddy were home at around 1:15 pm. They told us that Shelby was going to visit her dad, and was nervouse about riding on the plane all by herself. So Kelly was going with her. Kelly asked if my mom and dad wanted to go with her to Spokane and stay in a hotel for two nights.They accepted. I endedup going to stay at Ganny'shouse. When I got there I said hi to Ganny and Gina, then I went downstairs and started to play my DS. After lke, five minutes there Sky said we should clean up 'cos Sami and Tammy were coming over that night. So we did, then I played my DS some more. When Sky went upstairs, I played Mariokart (Wii) and then Gabe, Jesse, and Joel played Halo while I tried to set up the NES. I ended up just playing my DS. Pretty soon I saw Sami and I said "Hi!" She asked me what I was doing and I said I was playing Animal Crossing. She said "what's that?" I just sat there and stared her in awe. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT ANIMAL CROSSING IS?!?!??!?!??!?!?!? Shw shook her head. So I told her and then I caught a sting-fish in the game and I was ecstatic. Then I donated a dab to the museum of Treehut. So now we have an inside joke. Whenever she sees me she says, "Cheyenne, did you donate anymore dabs?" It's czoolniss. Anyhoo, after THEY left Jess, Gabe, and I played Super Samsh bros. Then I went to bed. The next morning we studied the Watchtower and went to meeting. Then I playe Super smash bros again. I played WiiFit for a long time and I lost like 3 pounds! Then Mom picked me up.

Ash

Ash is my friend from school. Her full name is Ashlyn, but I like to call her Ash. Almost every Tuesday I go to her house and study with her. It's fun, and we get to play with Dylan, too.
She has her own cat named Hazel, who is cute and playful. Ash has informed me that Hazel is also a murderer. Just kidding! She has a dog named Scooter who is reddish-brown. He is very fast. Ash has a very good sense of humor. She likes to laugh! Her fave color is blue. I get to see her on Fridays too because she goes to Friday-School like me. Only she is in the grade lower than me. In her spare time she baby-sits her brother and reads books about horses. She also watches TV.
